The Miss Black Rock City Project is bringing it on home to where it
all began this fall, for Miss Playa del Fuego 2005. Some of you may
remember how hard we rocked out at the Miss Playa del Fuego Spring
2004 event, our first ever production of this kind! We have since
produced six pageants and several other events, but we do have a
special place in our hearts for PDF. We have very special things
planned for you!

THE MISS PLAYA DEL FUEGO 2005 PRELIMINARIES!
Saturday, 4pm @ Disorient

There are only 2 requirements to enter: You must have a title
beginning with "Miss" – no matter who or what you are - and you must
have a sash that states this title. Participation is open to all
women and men of any (or no) sexual preference and/or identity. In
fact, all of PDF is encouraged to come out show us their groove, while
doing three silly tasks for the people. Ten finalists and five
alternates continue on to the Miss Playa del Fuego 2005 Main Event!

THE MISS PLAYA DEL FUEGO 2005 MAIN EVENT
Saturday, 7pm @ The Stage

Directly after the Playa Dinner Theatre with the lovely Miss Goddess
Comedia, 10 finalists and 5 alternates from the preliminaries
participate in a pageant of self-proclaimed beauty queens, in these
three segments: "Biker Wear", the "Talent Exhibition", and the classic
"Interview". All contestants receive the same prize, including a
tiara, except for Miss Playa del Fuego, who shall receive a special
custom made sash by the makers of the Miss USA sashes! Remember: no
beauty pageant is fair. Bribing is the new Gifting! Participate for
fun, rather than play to win (you must participate in the prelims at
4pm to be in this event).
